Yes, I often wonder where they are all going. At any given time hundreds if not thousands of aeroplanes are flying somewhere. I used to think that when caught driving and getting stuck in a queue. Of course, we are all the same, going somewhere, doing something or other. The Nerine seems peaceful though, quietly nodding away, giving pleasure for free.
We are in the country, but we do see aeroplanes from two commercial, one testing and one museum airfield, depending on the wind direction and other factors. This looked like some weird artwork, though there was no noise to speak of, so we were lucky.
