I am amazed of the all the flowering going on at this time of the year in your garden Hilary. They must respond to your green fingers and copious fertilizing.
The crocus and the winter jasmine are hardy beasts, they are in poor, dry soil, with no fertiliser or tenderness from me at all.
We’ve been in Mexico for three weeks, Hilary, and the temperature at our home has dropped into the teens. Don’t expect many flowers to be left when we get home, sigh. Glad to see you have some blooming. –Curt
We rarely go below -10 centigrade at worst. That shuts down most plants here, but they come again in spring. Don’t know what survives your kind of temperatures.
